All Jokes Aside – Rick and Morty Season 3 is Coming This Summer

Last night Adult Swim along with Rick and Morty creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, surprised fans everywhere by not only announcing that Rick and Morty Season 3 will be debuting this summer, but by also premiering the first episode. Being that it was April Fool’s Day, the announcement and premiere were thought to be an elaborate joke by the creators at first, but thankfully it wasn’t. Adult Swim kept the premiere episode on a constant loop until 12 AM today and boy was it something to see.

The first episode of Season 3 picks up right where Season 2 left off and it does not disappointed in the slightest. If anything, the Season 3 premiere shows that it was worth the wait and that Rick and Morty is still one of the best television series to come about in recent years. It gives fans just enough to hold them over until the summer while giving an poignant taste of what is sure to be the craziest, darkest, and most thought-provoking season…

I’m honestly just going to stop there instead of giving any sort of review or spoilers. Go find it online now and watch it for yourself. While the premiere is no longer on Adult Swim, fans have already uploaded the episode to YouTube, Facebook, and other sites. If you haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, do yourself a favor and find it now. It is seriously one of the most insane and action-packed 23 minutes you will ever experience.

Believe me, you will thank me later!

Update: A release date has officially been announced for season 3 via a brand new trailer (see below). Rick and Morty will return on July 30th!

Get ready for Pickle Riiiiiiiiiiick!!!
